Each February, the President of Edison Music Boosters is responsible for appointing an individual to assemble a slate of candidates for each of the elected positions of the organization. President Larry Staka has appointed Bob Fujita to assemble the slate of candidates. The slate of candidates is to be presented at the March Music Boosters meeting. Nominations may be taken from the floor at the March meeting as well. Nominations are then closed, and elections take place at the April Membership meeting. Candidates have the opportunity to address the membership at the April meeting before the election is held. New officers assume their duties on July 1, and have the opportunity to work with the current officers for several months to ensure a smooth transition.
Edison Music Boosters has four elected offices; President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Serving in one of these positions is a great way to support the music programs of the Edison Local Schools, and to ensure the tradition of excellence is maintained, and strengthened for our current and future students.
Please contact Bob Fujita at (216) 513-3296 or email@example.com if you have any questions about the individual positions, or the election process.

To the Parents of Edison Music Students,
As I am sure you are all aware, our annual Reverse Raffle is coming up soon, March 22, 2014 to be exact. This is our biggest fund raiser of the year. We are asking for help from the parents and students this year since the raffle proceeds work for all the students in our music program.
Each class, 6th-12th grades will be sponsoring a basket with a different theme in the silent auction. Click on “read more” for a list of each classes theme. Each student is asked to bring in 1-2 items to donate to the basket. Example, the pet basket would include items such as treats, pet clothes, grooming items, etc… These items do not need to be expensive but should be of a nice quality so people will bid on them. Your help is greatly appreciated in this task. We would ask that your items be brought to school the week of February 24th.
If you have any questions about the baskets or what would be appropriate for the baskets, please call Denise Reilly @ 419-499-4652 ext. 1009 or email @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continued support of our great music program.
Sincerely, Mrs. Denise Reilly, Edison Reverse Raffle Chairman
